Nunn's Home Medical Equipment Was Founded by Martin J. Nunn in 1942...

It has since remained a family business, specializing in home medical equipment. We network with the best providers and professionals to give you the highest quality products, personal service, and individual attention.

When we say “Our family supports your family” we mean it!

As the story is told, Martin needed a wheelchair for a friend who wanted to pay their last respects to a loved one at the funeral home.He called all over town but could not find one, unfortunately, they had to carry this person into the funeral home. Martin decided to order a wheelchair so if this situation occurred again, he would be prepared. His order kept getting backlogged due to the war — he continued to wait and wait. Finally, one day – 12 wheel chairs were delivered, much to his surprise!

Martin did not need all 12 wheelchairs, so he decided to sell or rent them to those who did.The demand was there. He thought… if I can rent and sell wheel chairs, why not crutches, canes, walkers, etc., thus the idea for Nunn's Hospital Supply Inc. was born.
